Designing for the future
The practice of strategy means thinking about tomorrow as well as today. In creating roadmaps for businesses, I employ a number of tools borrowed from the academic practice of Futures Studies.
Below are examples of trend analysis work done for a project to envision new business opportunities that will help reduce humans' environmental footprint on the planet. The designations of A, B, and Q represent the likelihood of each scenario coming to pass (A being the highest and Q the lowest).
